Privacy policy

The short version

We do not ask you to create an account, we never ask for your Fantasy Premier League password, and we cannot access your FPL account. The only piece of information you might give us is your public FPL team ID, and that stays in your own browser. Advertising is the one place where a third party is involved, and you can decline it.

Who we are

Deadline FPL is an independent website providing free Fantasy Premier League statistics and projections. For any privacy question, contact us at the address on our contact page.

What we store, and where

In your browser

  • Your FPL team ID, if you enter one on the My Team page. It is saved in your browser's local storage so you do not have to retype it. It never leaves your device except as part of the request that fetches your public squad, and we do not keep a copy. Clearing it is one click on that page.
  • Your advertising choice, so we do not ask again on every page.
  • A short-lived copy of the player data in session storage, so moving between pages is fast. It is discarded when you close the tab.

On our servers

We do not operate a user database. We do not store your name, email address, IP address or browsing history. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and troubleshooting, which may include IP addresses and are retained only for a short period.

Advertising

This site is free because it carries advertising. We use Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.

  • Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to our site and other sites on the internet.
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings, or opt out of a third-party vendor's use of cookies for personalised advertising at aboutads.info.
  • You can review how Google uses data from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.

If you decline the advertising consent prompt, we do not load Google's advertising script at all, and every tool on this site continues to work.

Third-party data sources

Player, fixture and price data is retrieved from the publicly available Fantasy Premier League game by our servers, not by your browser. The Premier League therefore receives no information about your visit through us.

Your rights

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over personal data held about you. Because we do not maintain user accounts or a personal-data store, in practice there is very little to exercise these rights against — but if you believe we hold information about you, contact us and we will respond.

To remove everything this site has stored on your device, clear your browser's site data for this domain, or use the "Use a different ID" button on the My Team page and decline the advertising prompt.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
